Unique Disability ID Card (UDID)

The Unique Disability ID Card is a vital resource for children with disabilities, and we provide comprehensive support for the online application process, regardless of whether the child is a school student. Initiated by the Government of India, the UDID aims to establish a centralized database for individuals with disabilities, streamlining identification and ensuring beneficiaries can easily access their entitled benefits. This card not only facilitates access to government services but also champions equal rights and opportunities for all.

Under The National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities. We do the enrolment and processing of 2 schemes:

Niramaya Health Insurance Policy

Affordable Health Insurance for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) offers coverage up to Rs. 1.0 lakh. It includes OPD treatment, covering medicines, pathology, and diagnostic tests. Regular medical checkups cater to non-ailing disabled individuals, along with preventive dentistry and surgeries to prevent the worsening of disabilities.

Non-surgical options and hospitalization are also covered, alongside corrective surgeries for existing and congenital disabilities. Ongoing therapies mitigate disability impacts and complications, with provisions for alternative medicine.

Legal Guardianship for Persons with Disabilities

Persons with autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, and multiple disabilities face unique challenges, often unable to independently manage their lives or make legal decisions after turning 18. Legal Guardianship becomes crucial, allowing a chosen individual to advocate for their interests in legal matters throughout their lifetime.

This arrangement empowers the guardian to make decisions on behalf of the person with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and best interests are protected and represented effectively.
