What we have achieved is there before you. Still miles to go further, we all know. There are over 18 million mentally Challenged children, and we are catering to only 175 children though we are, by now Matured enough to serve more than 500 children. To achieve this uphill task, we are planning to expand further in every respect – building, machinery and projects.
At every milestone, people like you are helping ‘Punarvas’ to reach the next milestone. We are sure, your help only will support ‘Punarvas’ in the ongoing journey to serve more and more Differently Abled children.
This is a sincere appeal to you to join hands for the upliftment and rehabilitation of the differently abled section of the society.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank all the members of our managing committee for their sincere and dedicated efforts in working as a team and standing by me in taking Punarvas forward.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank all the members of our managing committee for their sincere and dedicated efforts in working as a team and standing by me in taking Punarvas forward. The school is committed to society at large and aims to fulfill its obligations to the communities it touches, with appropriate initiatives, in a dedicated and comprehensive manner.
We made a very humble beginning with just two students in a small garage and since then Punarvas has evolved from strength to strength meeting all challenges, and further empowering our education and practical training programme in order to mainstream these very special children in the society at large.
The smooth functioning of the association is ensured as it is in safe and experienced hands. We foster a positive spirit and believe in partnership between students, parents, teachers and support staff striving to create a school climate striving for excellence. Our students have brought us great laurels of which you will be reading in this annual report and in the newsletters which we email to you from time to time. I thank them all for their efforts in keeping the banner of Punarvas flying high. However, all this would not have been possible without the valuable support of our sponsors and donors.
While we express our heartfelt gratitude to you all, we eagerly look forward to your continued as well as enhanced support in future. We are faced with the daunting task of improving our standards of education and services being rendered to the special needs students and I seek the cooperation of each and every member in this noble cause. Every effort, small or large, will go a long way in achieving this goal.

President’s Message
It is very unfortunate that many children are born with various challenges including mental health problems. There can be various reasons for such metal problems, but the parents and the child suffer financially, socially and emotionally.
It is very unfortunate that many children are born with various challenges including mental health problems. There can be various reasons for such metal problems, but the parents and the child suffer financially, socially and emotionally.
The common symptoms found in the child are shouting loudly, urination at any place, unable to chew the food, unable to walk properly and unable to understand the various activities. Such a child takes lots of time to understand simple activities.
There are many schools who are providing education, vocational training and involve such children in various activities. It is observed that such children are very happy in school with other specially abled children.
The management of Punarvas Education Society (M/s PES) along with all supporters always try to improve upon the health and financial position of children and family. The continued discussion and thought process with various stakeholders result in improvement in the health of children.
M/s PES has undertaken the treatment of such children through homeopathy by organizing a camp every three months at the campus of M/s PES. The treatment is provided by the team of doctors led by leading Homeopath Dr. Tanmay Vijaykar. Nearly 35 to 40 doctors have come to the camp for treating around 175 children for the last two years. The feedback from parents is obtained during every camp, and the results are astounding. One of the children has shown remarkable improvement holistically, that was able to take admission in mainstream regular school.
The children from various schools in Mumbai participate in this camp, which is entirely free. The doctors do not charge anything to M/s PES for their services and medicine. Many parents have reported substantial improvement in hyperactiveness, chewing of food, understanding, urine problems etc. The teacher and staff members are very happy.
We receive support from the various persons/organizations not only financially but also in helping us to conduct various activities and programs. We wish to thank all the teachers, donors and all supporters who have directly and indirectly assisted M/s PES in conducting various activities.

At Punarvas, “From dusk to dawn” signifies more than just a motto—it’s a promise. A promise to nurture, guide, and empower our students throughout their educational and vocational journey, ensuring that they are well-prepared to face the challenges of the world.
Our dedicated team of Special Educators and support staff is committed to ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. We believe that every child possesses unique strengths and talents, and it is our privilege to help them discover and develop these abilities. Our school is not just a place of learning; it’s a community that embraces diversity and celebrates the achievements of every student. We are here to support Special Needs children on their educational journey, and encourage open communication and collaboration between our staff, students, and families.
We began this journey of Special Education & Training with 2 students in a small garage and have travelled this path for past 41 years currently catering to 175 Intellectually Deficit Students. We are soon undergoing expansion of current structure so that we can provide Education & Training to as many Special needs children who are deprived of the same due to financial constraints. At present we have 3 units in school Early Intervention Centre (0 to 3 years for therapies), School Unit ( 3 years to 18 years ) & Vocational Training Centre (18 years & above). Along with we also provide Life skills training , paramedical facilities such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Individual & Group Counseling, Homeopathy Treatment to help bring a positive influence of growth in their life & to make them individualistic. We also help children excel in extracurricular activities & hobbies like dancing, Singing, Art & Craft, Sports etc.
