With a perception of providing Education and training to more & more Intellectually disabled students, our school was started on 17th July,1981 at Goregaon West under the vision of Late Mr. Prabhakar Modak (Social Worker). Our journey started with two Intellectually Disabled children & at present we educate 175 special needs children with a view of reaching out to 500 Intellectually Disabled children after the building expansion. We are extremely overjoyed to inform you that our School has completed 41 years on 17th July, 2023 since its Foundation in 1981.
To brief you about our school activities, we provide Education, Vocational training, Life skills training, along with paramedical facilities such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Individual& Group Counselling to 175 Intellectually deficit children & Adults to help bring a positive influence of growth in their life & to make them individualistic. We also help children excel in extracurricular activities & hobbies like dancing, Singing, Art & Craft, Sports etc. Every milestone we have achieved has only been a joint effort of our dedicated and zealous team of Trustees, Principal, Special Educators, & students along with the cooperation of Parents. All of us have been a part & equally contributed towards all the events, celebrations, festivals, training programs & projects carried out in and by the school.
